Rhyme about one-sided love; the results thereof.

Sally was a pretty girl–she could turn your head.
Billy was a cowpoke–his daddy owned a spread.
She was his prom date tho’ he didn’t have much poise
‘Cause Sally never could say no to cowboys.

Billy went away to college in another town.
Sally kept a picture of him in his cap and gown.
She didn’t like to go with him as he made too much noise
But Sally never could say no to cowboys.

Billy graduated and came back to herd the cows.
He was just as wild and wooly as the law allows.
Sally didn’t care too much for Billy’s big boys’ toys
But Sally never could say no to cowboys.

Sally knew that she had fallen for that big cowpoke.
Billy, on the other hand, saw the whole thing as a joke.
She’s starting to show now–the twins will bring her joys.
Yes, Sally never could say no to cowboys.

I make it a policy to ALWAYS say NO to Cowboys. No one-sided love here.
