SAMENESS OF LIFE

I am looking at the sea… so calm and peaceful, without a ripple
Flowing gently, bountiful with free abandon and joy
Carefree like the winds of spring, gushing like the waterfall
Filled with shrieks and grumbles of brown sparrows,
cooing pigeons and vain peacocks
Teasing, mocking and flirting and seducing!
Lashing cruelly and screaming wildly,
Tempests rising in fury and rage
Like the mighty lion and tenacious leopard
The unforgiving cold mountain range, challenging
Then the waters drop and calm descends,
Lapping leisurely as life flowing
Filled with peaks and ebbs, joys and sorrows
a full circle, an ocean of sameness
Accepting it is recognizing, embracing
Sameness of life – the myraid colors, moods of life!
