Sand castle, a fleeting treasure.

Sand castles of childhood
Swept away by the swift tide
In a wink of an eye
The memories fade

I still love the sand
But the tide keeps coming by
Should I build me a sand castle?
A fortress , a sham
Never mind the tide
It’ll always come

    This is a nice poem!
And yes, just think of all the time and patience put into building sculptures in the sand that get washed away with the rising tide. But the memories are worth every moment!

It’s when you know that something won’t last that long that you appreciate it more. While you have the chance, see the beauty of it. The good thing is you can still create new ones! Lovely poem!

How this poem took me back to my childhood. I think almost one of the best parts of building a sandcastle is waiting for the tide to come and take it away. Lovely work.

    I HAVE ALWAYS BUILT
    SAND CASTLES TILL TODAY
    LET LOVE AND LIFE
    HAVE ITS WAY

    NO MORE SAND CASTLES
    I SHALL BUILD THIS WAY,

    AS THE SURF CASTS THEM
    MERCILESSLY AWAY
    AND AT THE CASTLES
    NOW MY MIND DOES STRAY

    LOVELY CASTLES U BUILD ANYWAY
