there are elves drinking chocolate and only slurping is heard.

Santa Clause has got to stream line the budget so he’s reading the books,

heard how on line shopping may safe him big bucks.

So all of the elves with their lap tops at ready,

serve the Internet , mouse clicking steady.

What , with no sleigh time needed or packaging paper to buy,

this on line shopping is saving the over time.

He can even enclose a audio picture if he likes,

you know something for all of the little tykes.

No need to go down those old chimneys anymore,

this new wave holiday shipping has got to be a big score!

Oh, and if he acts now there’s no payment due till next year,

that can come in quite handy , real good to hear.

Yes , there will be mumbling about how tradition  all fades,

but come on now, we all got to cut back somewhere these days.

Santa looks at all of his crew,

thinks real hard at what he should do.
