This a sonnet which I wrote when I was 12 about Santa and Christmas.

Santa

This is my message for Mister Santa

I hope this dose not sound like a ranta

By the river Thames is my very nice house

It is spotless you wont even find a mouse

On my Christmas list it says I would like

A very fast toy car and a brand new bike

I have left a few carrots for your Reindeer

And my mum left you a big pint of beer

I hope you will not have too much to do

You only have to work for one day through

When you get back to your elves please thank them

I know you will for me ‘cos I like ‘em

How come no one manages to see you?

Is it because maybe you are not true?
