Just a crazy Christmas poem.
Christmas in these here parts
Has been pretty much the same
Here I sit on my front porch
Rufus dreaming of chasing some game
That is until last year
When things went suddenly wild
Heard a squall over head
Made Rufus run off in dread
First time I ever saw
Skid marks in the sky
And I wondered wondered
What just flew by
And then a horn gave out
A big Booming Base, “Ho Ho Ho!”
And then up the road
Came Santa Wild and Bold
He rode a three wheel chopper
It was Red, Green, Black and Gold, “OH Joy”
Had Big Big rear tires
And a truck bed for that bag of toys
Rufus look with big wild eyes
Santa slid right up in his Red leather jacket
Hopped off like a cat
Handed me a baseball bat
He twirled around in glee
And gave bag of bones to Rufus with delight
Then back on that bike
He revved the pipes of that Trike
He gave a hearty Ho Ho Ho
Popped a wheelie and took off into the sky
Now back in my chair
Laughed as he flew off with flair
