After a day in meditation it is, sunset is a good time for reflection.

When everything is so quiet
only the bird calls break the silence
a crows cacophony smudged in distant
counterpoint to salmon lilted
brush strokes of humble recognition.
Crickets sing creations united heart beat as
blue trees climb like spidery extensions
to hazy clouds blossomming in tranquility.
A final wink catches the fallen leaves
As golden tendrils lisp through
shade grey whisps of tender cream across the bay.
Pastelled in emerging solemnity the
softening fiery kindness,
with constraining majesty,
seeks harmony in this humility and
in tender submission offers joy to its creator.
Three stars,
soulful spices and rising prayful incense.
I hear the silence
hidden by his power
searched by his compassion
and found in His beauty.
