Jim Morrison coined the termed the phrase savage garden and I think he epitomised selfishness and self destruction. The man was a legend though and I am a massive fan.

a self destruction we could not fathom
with such reckless determination
on a rollercoaster without any delaying
you tool everything for the taking
noy honouring anything or forsaking
