It was a cloudy day.
Over Pensacola Bay.
When Savanna Mace.
When to the zoo to play.

She loved the ducks and geese
The turtles and the fishes.
As long she was feeding them.
They followed all her wishes.

The petting zoo was fun.
But the billy goats were greedy.
The llamas cute and gentle.
Giraffes said, “Please feed me.”

Tigers screamed, the lioness roared.
While monkeys swung from trees.
And little Miss. Savanna.
Well she never got bored.

More animals soon were found.
On a train ride in the round.
Camels, hippos, and zebras too.
But the mythical croc-a-gator was not seen in the loop.

The day ended with a picnic.
On the zoo grounds.
And a nap for tired Savanna.
As we were homeward bound.
