Is it worth feeding corn to a starving nation?
Preaching peace to people sunk in degradation?
Is it worth striving to save everybody?
Or are we merely mopping up the sea?

Are we putting band aids on broken limbs?
Is it worth holding up our candles in these winds?
We can’t rescue everybody sinking in this strife
But it’s worth it all if we can save One life!

Do we keep on piping water to the peoples so dry
Trying to quench a thirst that nothing will satisfy?
Am I fighting the beast with a kitchen knife?
Well it will all be worth it if it saves one life!

Well one step begins the journey of a thousand miles
A wise woman said peace starts with one smile
One selfish sinner can destroy much good
But one righteous man can reverse that… and should!

Does my dollar matter in these mountains of debt?
Why should I care about kids I’ve never met?
Can I make a difference in this world of such need?
Yes, it’s worth it even if only one mouth you feed!

Don’t think that your actions don’t matter,
Cos if you don’t gather then you will scatter
That could be your child stuck in that plight
So take up your arms and join in our fight –
