About bums.
Say man, why you laying out there like that?
What’s going on with you?
Ain’t you got something to do?
Morning, noon and night I see you
Hanging out there
Broad daylight doing nothing it’s not right
You not strolling through the park having lunch
You parked out there, like that’s what a park’s for
Hanging out all night life your living room floor
You look strong, capable and able
Ain’t it time to buckle down and get stable?
Its got be cold sleeping in them there parks
The thought you might not live through the night
Isn’t in your mind as a question mark?
Get up in the morning open my doors you’re
The first thing that hit my sight, covered head to toe
With dirty blankets, bless you soul
Can’t you find another place to sleep?
Go to a shelter they’ll give you something to eat
Don’t get me wrong I too slept in a park
But you would not find me sleeping there when it got dark
The park is a beautiful place to behold
Say man,
You somebody
You don’t have to break the mold
Sleeping outside bout to catch a head cold
Rise up take control
Put the crack down
Inside you is the real gold
