Working for something great only to realize it’s not for you.
I’m climbing up a mountain
I’m almost at the top
Have I made it this far
Only to fail, only to fall?
Have I made it this far
To lose it all?
My heart is beating faster
I’m stuck in a disaster
The sky is what I’m after
I’m climbing up a mountain
I’m almost at the top
I promise that I will get there
I swear I’ll never stop
As I climb higher
I become fatigued
And now I know
This was just a waste of my energy
I’m climbing up a mountain
I’m almost at the top
I promise I will get there
I swear I’ll never stop
But as I make it
I look down to see
Now everyone
Looks up to me
I’m climbing up a mountain
I’m almost at the top
But as I make it
I realize I have to stop
