Use your imagination…..
It seems difficult to make two ends meet when the length of thread doesn’t stretch
This inheritance is no longer enough to cloth an entire family
Each member stumbles around, exposed and full of grief
Patience, they have none
They run a tight gambit in order to care of the necessities
Cloths wither and winkle, standing rigid
So the group assembles, coming to terms with their new bare bodies
The fabric that once held on to their internal stories, their hidden struggles is missing in action.
Those few members who cannot hack the embarrassment, navigate back to the familiar
They beg, plead, and steal
Practice the use of unconventional methods
Uneven shards of tin foil crinkle around the scarred flesh
Flesh that translates the book of their lives into a time line of events
The new more distinguishable, then the old
The existing members encircle each other in a chain link hung.
Making use of limbs as shields, no material required
The constant fight to make ends meet proves to be unyielding.
