How your upbringing can affect the way you live your life.

Sliding erect, her head firmly placed,
she walks away with her rocketing pride,
leaving behind just a few broken hearts,
Adding doubles to that graceful glide.

Ascertaining glory of the present demeanour,
tracing back to that voluptuous breeding,
undue adulation on an unjust gain,
Snatched nickels, the essence of her feeding.

Oblivious to the usual earthly pains,
growing up in blissful ignorance,
this mistress of privilege thus embarked,
on a voyage of misconceived clairvoyance.

where destiny transcended into her fantastic cocoon,
the awakening jolted her rooted confidence,
scattered morsels of a disintegrated soul,
were so alien to her distinguished existence.

The world then ganged up on a wrecked soul,
Claiming the downfall well deserved.
But, Shame onto them who never taught but praised,
this innocent child of God wrongly raised.

@Jenna: I think its a little tactless and rude to call somebody’s writing rubbish.

I agree. It’s another thing if you don’t understand it or it’s not your cup of tea but being so abrupt and rash shows our lack of respect for creativity. People who write themselves never do that, if they don’t like it, they explain what they didn’t like and that’s calls critical analysis, your’s, however is just lashing.
