Writing and waiting for the thoughts to come.

Image

I write and I write

And I write some more

Crumpled paper lays on the floor

The thoughts they come

In scattered pieces

Frayed and torn

They feel defeated

Twisting and turning

Around in my head

I cannot sleep

‘til I put it to bed

So I think and I ponder

And wrack my brain

It’s enough to wonder

If I can do it again

And yet I do

When the thoughts come to me

They are fast and furious

Sometimes others inspire me

So with my scattered writing

I scribble this down

Hoping that it too

Won’t land on the ground

Hahaha, seeing that basket reminded me of the times when I used to write on paper.
