My cat Scooter is a silly, silly cat.
He uses his feet to scoot around things,
while laying on his back.
So, that is why we named him that.
The funniest thing that ever went missing,
was when Scooter the cat went bathtub fishing.
My Mom had gotten plastic fish for the tub instead of a mat.
She’d come ask me later, where the fish are all at.
I didn’t know. I had no idea.
Just where the fish went, or why they disappeared.
Then one night while we were watching TV,
Out of the tub popped Scooter, with a fish in his teeth.
My Mom she just smiled and said “Silly, silly cat.”
“Now we know where the fish are all at!”
We changed to a mat instead of the fish,
So Scooter would eat the food in his dish.
