I know its not politically correct, but…

The most appalling thing to see

According to the likes of me

Is when abroad upon the street

A child that screams and stamps its feet

And parents who then try to quell

The ravings of the child from Hell

They attempt, in their entreaty

Bribe the child with toy or sweety

With promises of things to come

A brand new bike from dad and mum

But parents do not plead or beg

Just slap the buggers round the leg

LOL, I love it, I see so many permissive parents and I would like to tell them, “give that child a swat on the bottom to get his attention” and teach that child to mind you. I’m old fashioned I know. All I had to do was give mine a look and they knew exactly what it meant.I seldom had to even give them the look.

I amd so with you on this one John! A slap on the back of the hand or the leg didn’t do me any harm. Another thing I hate about modern parents – they tell the kid they can’t have a toy or some sweets, the kid puts on his parts and then the parents give in! What sort of message is that giving ‘em??

“Slap the boogers around the leg,” how funny.
