A poem about life.

Screaming Dance

Twilight breaks your heart

In a thunderstorm of love,

Lightning strikes the soul,

A lesson sent from above.

Secrets are shouting out,

No more gifts to share,

The vulture sits on a tree limb

Waiting for what you bare.

Long ago you dreamed of castles,

Now they are all torn asunder,

Chains still lie in the dungeons,

Bones inside links of thunder.

Bleed from a wound that will heal,

But the scar will always be there,

Even if tears are dried, smile

From a ghost who might care.

A very intricate and beautifully written piece, Will! My favorite lines are:

Chains still lie in the dungeons,
    Bones inside links of thunder.
