A poem about someone playing a game. Interpret for yourself.

In your eyes a game,
You think i cant see it..
But darling.. Ive been playing all along.
Ive seen these words repeated,
this script played out perfection.
How many times will you play?
New pieces will be found and set on the board,
I haven’t lost yet,
‘Improvise’ you’ll be thinking,
but shh.. don’t tell them.. they think its real.
I wont be the only one to notice,
I wont be the only one to win,
Your game is getting sloppy,
Your scripts been left in the open,
watch out.. before they see it.
Ive already read the lines,
“i love you too”
that’s what I’m suppose to say right?
Ive memorized every word,
“lets run away” I’ll say..
Your response: “lets do it.. i really would”
But its just a game,
Like playing house when your 8 years old,
pretending to be married,
but its not an actuality.
-ahem- I’ll clear my throat,
“im planning my trip”
“ill be waiting”
De ja vu,
These words have been said.. but not to me,
not by me,
They’ve been put on so many times before,
so many times again.
Sweetheart.. can you see yet?
Open your eyes away from your delusion,
Your cast is getting smaller..
You’ve played to many times..
This show no longer has interest.
All the pieces have fallen down,
Its just you and me…
But wait.. there is another..
How could i have overlooked her..
The red piece..
A symbol of love.. is she the one?
I wont wait forever.. i lay down my cards..

Goodbye.
