Before  this software, I had to organize my characters in a notebook. My characters were given pages with a cut out picture from a magazine that gave me a visual of what I thought the character was like. I drew the layout of the story, the apartments, the towns onto notebook or drawing papaer. I constantly had to flip back pages to make sure I wasn’t changing basic information about a character or the action. Editing a book was a nightmare hence why it took me over 10 years to edit, redit, and then let it go. 

This past May, my wonderful, supportive husband and best friend bought me Scrivener Writing program for Mother’s Day. It was awesome. I hadn’t been writing much just my triond articles. This motivation got me to enter the information via copy paste from Google Docs and viola. I was ready to do final edit. He also edited it as well. He was the first person ever to read my novel.
