A poem about a captain.
Captain of the ship,
clinging to his ropes.
Crew have long absconded
taking with them all the hopes,
of a faithful journey
through waters yet unknown.
Once there was many
but the captain is now alone.
Alone to face a future
of schemes not yet imagined.
A true destiny may await
but captain has not fathomed
the reasons of past failures yet,
so will make the same mistakes.
Before casting off into the ocean,
may be better to tour the lakes.
