A lifelong promise.

Intoxicated by your gaze
My spirit feels lighter,
My future brighter

Like a heaven sent ray
You have reignited a hopeful passion
An innocent love
Suddenly set, aflame

I feel carried away
Swept a hundred million miles
From the grayest day

Your arms circled my form
And we made a wish
And we watched the bride and groom
Seal it with the promise
Of a lifelong kiss.

To answer Richie and Flourishingflorida’s question: they are together, near a wishing well, where they just threw a penny in and made a wish and then they happen to look up in a romantic moment and see a bride and groom – true story.*

Blessings & best wishes to all.

    Sincerely,

    -Liane Schmidt.
