This is my description of the fields of tulips that look like sea of undulating waves of pastel colours.

The tulips that smile with faces upturned at the sun

Their petals filling fragrance in the nostrils of the breeze

Looking like a sea of pastel colours that sway in the draught

And resemble the undulating  tide of the sea

As it hurls on a calm evening caressed by the gentle winds

And kisses the sandy shores with dewy passion

The yellow flowers are all dancing in identical rows

Like clones of sun kissed blooms swaying in rhythm

They are the symbols of cheerful smiles

And whisper that they reflect the cheer of our golden smiles

Red tulips are the symbols of perfect love and undying passion

As they resemble a river of blood or red wine from afar

They are the mute redolent testimonies of the saga of love

That written in the blood of Farhad and Shirin

The purple blooms of tulips represent royalty

Like the after-cloth of an emperor afloat in the wind

White tulips whisper the words of tranquility

And convey the message of sought forgiveness

They look like a stream of silver painted by dancing moonbeams

Orange blossoms of tulips are like a sea of autumn shades

Stolen from the face of the shimmering dawn

Pink blushing flowers of tulips like rivers of molten candy floss

Are symbolic  of perfect happiness and confidence

And have a sublime glow of innocence from cherubic cheeks

Cream blooms of fragrant tulips smile in rows

And convey the message of eternal love from mute lips

Variegated tulips like speckled sleeping butterflies

Are complimenting the beautiful eyes of women

Those within which flare the fires of Prometheus

They are like a river of rainbows shattered into crystals

In the shades born of the door of prisms

Gazing at these rivers of satin fragrance

Haven of moth, butterflies and bees

I marvel at the beauties within the arms of nature

That are unrivaled , incomparable…
