Sometimes it’s the subtle things that reveal indiscretion.

Torpid images bravely deceives,

trembling pride recaptures weakness,

your vanity victimizes.

Torpid breathing bravely uncovers absence,

desire stifled, subdued,

your narcissistic transformation quietly unburdens.

Love no longer rains freely,

I have quelled your peacock ranting birth,

your kiss reveals it all,

you have been with another.

You know what it means to read between the lines. There are such obvious things hidden away from the rest of the world, simply because they fail to understand and comprehend what it means to look. They are so caught up in temporary and irrelevant matters that they are blind to a reality that exists and holds so much more meaning then they could possibly fathom.

Then there are those that are different, and just like you can sense a wavering heart through a simple kiss, you can also sense an aware soul through a simple poem.
