A poem about the cognitive connection between Love and Forgiveness.

I approach you in prayer Father

My Heavenly Creator and Father

The Eternal God of celestial Lights

Please hear your servant

Speak out of this his unbearable pain

I know you love me and I love you too

But I continue to sin again and again

To hurt you is to hurt myself

I know this simple fact to be true

Still I travel down this narrow road

But at times it feels as if it is in vain

When I sabotage my progress and do what I do

It is true, that we should all be aware

That if we are standing we can at any time fall

From the outside looking in the “gifts in men”

Must to the outside world look 10 feet tall

Still they are men with imperfections

Weaknesses and idiosyncrasies one and all

Yet I pray one day I may serve as one of them

My goals and dreams are quickly shattered

When I drift completely off of course

The same mistakes I have made before

Is what makes my errors significantly worse?

My inertia circumvented

As my poor self image is re-invented

I feel the knives of shames stab me all over without a doubt

And I again beg you for forgiveness

Lest I choose the self disposing way out

And once and for all take my leave and mortal rest

    ‘My inertia circumvented

As my poor self image is re-invented” love this, Jerry. This is so humble, which should be our goal.

You should go and sin no more

I am sorry for that comment, Jerry. I am just a little frustrated and overwhelmed myself.

I love your personal plee to god. I believe that our prayers should always be so face to face with our maker.

We often commit sin again and again, even we know that this is wrong. Humans are really weak creature.

Pray to God and ask him for forgiveness. They say once a cheater always a cheater, but someone can really be sorry for whatever it is they’ve done and repent for good.

That’s such a humble and beautifully written prayer, powerfully done.

Please read about Manassa in the Bible. He had sinned greatly against God but was forgiven. Everyone has hope no matter what they do and we all fall short of God. My prayers are with you.

I am not sure if you are imposing your own personal issues on me through this forum but I most definitely have a conscience which is evidenced through this poem. To lecture someone when they are obviously already down doesn’t speak too well of you.

I have to say that it is really off putting when your comments are nothing more than condescension and condemnation.

I asked you politely before to not comment or correspond and now I am asking again with a slightly stronger tone: PLEASE STOP. IT BORDERS ON STALKING

    @ Adrian

I am familiar with Manasa and with David’s story and with the history of the Israelites which God forgave many many times for their sins. I also know that Jesus said that if someone asks you to forgive him 7 times you should forgive him 77 times. 7 represents completeness and in this instance we should forgive as often as we want to be forgiven.

This I know. However it still upsets me when I fall short.

    @ Love Doctor

This isn’t about cheating. This is about my vow to God not to a woman.

“The Eternal God of celestial Lights” – such a beautiful phrase

As humans we shall all sin for this is Satan’s work but as long as we are repentant in our hearts and as long as we never grow tired of seeking the Creator’s forgiveness we hold the possibility of gaining the ultimate success (Paradise)

So Mr. Jerry Atrixx keep repenting over and over and over again for you shall not lose if you never give up.
