As I sit and ponder and wonder why

I glance from the turret and see them fly

What a wonderful gift, a vision that’s mine

As I look down below and more take flight

From below and above and from all around

A dance from an entity, an energy profound

Could all the men see this too?

An Angelic display and a colour so true

Albeit a vision and thoughts of you

My aura is filled and I understand why

My dreams of a Solace about to unfold

As they fly the land and take my acclaim

Shun the fear of darkness and my sanity tame

I watched them fly and vanish to light

My friends that came to take up flight
