boom, bang
far in the stomp yard
where corn no longer grows
a hawk flies above
the clear blue water of the bay
more than one dog starts barking
frightening away the hawk
where in past centuries
they were free to roam
with nothing to scare them off
but now
just look
we humans are taking over
a world meant to be shared
then a boom and a bang is heard
coming from the stomping yard
natures peacefulness is now over
so see ya in my dreams
