The first of January is a day to remember. It is the beginning of the year and a holiday, when feasts are organized. Many populations celebrate their arrival in the Americas around that date.
You remember when in Europe,
we longed for holidays in Switzerland,
to smell the natural air.
That is when we felt happy,
and thought to come to the North America,
especially for the confederation.
We all start equal in America,
and of course you cannot forget your past,
and some will do better because of who they are.
So, those are the wishes to remember our communities,
and how well we did,
and to know that honey or milk it is Canada.
