When love wont work, it is natural to seek friendship as a second best solution.

I am sorry to have plagued your mind

I don’t want to have crossed a line

I have left any love way behind

in another place and another time

friendship is all that I seek

but I accept it maybe cannot be

we both have new loves who wont see

the innocent intentions of being friendly

in a relationship being friends with the opposite sex can sometimes change to something esle, best to separate the differences, good.
