I wonder what people will say when I am gone? So I wrote my own eulogy. I thought about this at a funeral I attended today.

I was born in the year 1957.

When I leave the earth,

I am going straight to heaven.

The time that I spent here,

I don’t consider to be a waste.

I was a productive individual,

Not someone who occupied a space.

I am a kind-hearted person,

I usually said what was on my mind.

I love doing things for people.

In fact, I am overly kind.

But mistake not, I am no fool.

I have a soft heart but,

I don’t allow myself to be used.

I know the day will come when,

the Lord will call my name.

My affairs are in order.

The family can fight over,

the left-over pennies and quarters.

I’ll be with my father,

and that’s a fair exchange.

That was good and I can relate to the part when you’re gone they will fight over your pennies and quarters. Unfortunately that happens more than you think. I see that you have peace with your walk in life and that’s a good place to be, and when it’s all over the biggest prize will be… to be in the company of our heavenly father engulfed in his love.

We all hope toleave a mark on this mean old world. If people can say of us that we touched their lives in a positive way, I think our heavenly Father will be pleased.

I really enjoyed this, I too maybe to giving to others. But at least we are safe in knowing we go to heaven, when we die. Sometimes I wish it would be sooner rather than later.
