Self image is the inner picture of what we think we look like to other people.

Imagine going into a job interview, knowing  you are wasting your time and wouldn’t get the job.  What kind of picture do you think you are showing to the other guy?

You are probably slouch down in your chair and giving one word answers.  Not even paying attention to anything he says, just putting a yes or no whenever you think it fits.  Would you hire someone like this?  I wouldn’t and I have been on the other side of the desk.

What did I look for in a employee?  Neat and clean.  First off, I would look at their appearance and see how they take care of themselves.  If a person takes care of themselves that mean that person will try on a job.  That means the self image of that person is good.

I also listen to whatever they say and act.  Taking notes to go over later.  If they got smart mouth or talked negative, that was one minus.  If they talked about their life and why they wanted the job with interest, upbeat, and positive.  That was one positive mark and I bet anything their self image is good.

Each of us has a self image and should be able to use it any way we see fit.  Another words, if a person wants everyone to see a depressed and saddened person, that is their right.  On the other hand, if a person wants to everyone to see a upbeat and positive person, that is their right, also.  In this instance, be honest who would you hire?
