A poem relating to the low times we have in our lives, when we feel no – one appreciates us or even knows we exist.

When life becomes too much to hold onto
Sit down and think of those who love you
Of those who have needed you many times before
And what they would feel, if you were no more

When life becomes too much to bear
Think of those who really do care
When you have brought joy when the darkness is near
And shined effortlessly through their fear

You’re presence in life is worth more than you know
Our hearts posses an indescribable glow
That precedes our presence as we struggle on through
Like an aura of love, it attracts them to you

You are needed much more here on this earth
You need to accept your inner self worth
So tell yourself this when you haven’t a clue
To carry on in this life you must love yourself too

That’s one of the most inspirational poems i’ve read in a while. it really makes me focus on what’s really important. i mean i’ve written about some of the same things you mentioned, and i haven’t even realized it. but with this perspective, it helps things equate. thank you for your words of wisdom!
