A man tries to meet a woman at a bar.

Sensuous Dance
I looked into her eyes,
And hoped that I’d have a chance
To greet this beautiful woman,
And do the sensuous dance.
At first she was so shy,
She never gave me the chance.
As she looked down at her watch,
I knew there would be no romance.
Our conversation died,
She left me all alone.
Tears swelled within my eyes,
I sat around and moaned.
I hate being a single,
I dislike the games that I play.
The rejections that I fear,
I hear most everyday.
I think I’ll leave the bar scene,
It wasn’t meant for me.
I’ll find my true love somewhere else,
And one day live happily.
