Don’t let this day bring sorrow, don’t let it bring hate,

Let us sit back, look around, and appreciate,

All we have been given,

For Christ being risen,

For without problems there is so struggle,

without struggle we need no help,

without help there is no need for faith,

and without faith there is no Christ.

When we look upon this day, do not think of those who died,

but of those who were born,

do not disgrace one persons day of birth,

yet honor many persons day of death,

instead of tearing us apart,

let it bring us together.

God is gracious and God is good,

without God, we never could.
