A poem responding to the 9/11 attack.

           september again

September in pain, rumbling in the air

         troubling my ears

September’s planes September’s fears

       September’s names September’s shame

September in vain, September again

     September moans, smoking around

Raised glories,

     crumbling aloud

      Mountains of human bones

Can’t bury September

      stretching  around
