Rebirth.

In the Sermon of the Rain
I find forever in a laughing splash
And linger there a moment
‘neath our dancing May’s cascade.
A lightning strike
Still time enough
To dive beneath the diamond wave
As quickening and fast the flash
Is born
As flesh
Is born to meet the grave.
And find it deep
The seed and leaf
Are scattered in the tender cave.
The finders seek but without grief
The sepulcher
…and saved.
