This is a poem I wrote about troublesome times in life.

I see you want to know me, I think you want me to care, but where is the answer, when you all aren’t there?

I came to your bedside, when the ride was rough; I prayed over you and I made you tough.

I cooked for hours for the many children you would feed, I stayed the extra hours to help plant your garden’s seeds.

I don’t want money, i don’t want fame, i’d rather be happy crying out in shame.

Those of you who knew me, let me pass on by; you laughed at me and even made me cry.

I wake up each morrning, waiting for you to see, there is no other name that can set me free!
