1 Corinthians 3:10-11 reads as follows: “(10) Because of God’s grace to me, I have laid the foundation like an expert builder. Now others are building on it. But whoever is building on this foundation must be careful. (11) For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have-Jesus Christ.”

My heart has felt much strength within
For I feel the Holy Spirit leading the way
At times my heart soars through the sky
Like a dove that has just learned how to fly
I’m studying and learning to build a foundation
That is built from my faith in Jesus Christ
This faith in turn will learn to move mountains
He gives me hope, love and fulfillment
He is my lamp that shines through darkness
God chose me to find His Truth in order to
Share and bring others closer to Him
Through His works I am becoming anew
My heart sings out to praise His name
For His warmth, protection and abundance
Given to me through Him shall always remain
