This random little poem came out of experimenting with a different style of writing. I designed the poem as in the form of a math problem, but its relations and metaphors hold in the form of literature and philosophy. I’ll leave it to the reader to figure out the rest. Comments are open.
Seven
One for the
Audience
Who is hearing this.
Two
Makes Three.
Three for
The Oddball
Of the group.
Four
Is a word
That everyone knows
And dislikes
Yet are so easily
Overcome by it.
Five
Syllables
Makes
Fiction
Possible.
Six
Lost Children
No matter
How hard
They stick together
They must always
Follow their own
Path.
Seven
Deadly Sins
And a four-letter word
Is the only thing
That saves
Mankind.
Seven
Reasons
To read
This poem.
Seven
Reasons
To make me
Want to forget
I ever existed.
One more
For the audience.
Four
Letters
And we’ll all
Get along.
