Plants and trees amaze man for many reasons.

SHADES OF GREEN

Take a look at photosynthesis, A miracle among the greens.

Non-noisy, non-polluting factories.  Life’s vital trades, their means.

Can a single tree yield fifty homes?  Three hundred feet to top.

Sequoia’s grandeur from teeniest seed, A 3,000-year-old crop.

How does the water get to the top, Without a heart to pump?

From roots to leaves, molecules of ropes, Over 2 miles do climb and jump.

In desert some seeds refuse to sprout, Till half an inch of rain.

Abstain from life, protect from drought, Right time to start their gain.

Greatest Artist designed with all shades of green, And mixed in colors galore.

Entrancement from sun, each rise, each set, To continue on evermore.
