SHADES OF HUMANITY

You,

me,

two people,

personalities…

just shades of our humanity;

perspectives that vary according to experience…

two;

just people

breathing the same air,

walking the same earth on the same planet in space…

And

are no more

and no less than the shades of our own humanity.

I’m thinking of two people meeting for the first time, who may be from conflicting cultures, and they realize they can get a long, despite the worlds they com from.
