Shadows of Pain
Those Shadows in the stillness
If you cannot see them
Are they really there?
Were they ever here?
Is the air a little colder?
Do you suddenly feel older?
Can you feel the movement?
Within this atmosphere?
Has the past come back to haunt you
Is it yours or older still?
Are these the shadows of your pain
Still hidden in the memories
Deep in the recesses of your brain?
