Free verse poem.

Shaken by the desert wind

I walk towards the flaxen gem

Oh, how many times you raised question

If I am allowed to love you

As I touch the sunbeams, it seems

That the road before me closes

And rocks will mar my path

I will find the means, my soul believes

How to open it with an heart-shaped key

I stood again, from swamps of sorrow

Looking toward a glistening tomorrow

And even though I am balancing on the rope

The water bellow me is lukewarm, enjoyable

So I think I will still be able

To share my love with you
