This is a poem I wrote about someone feeling guilty for having been a burden on their lover and debating on whether or not to end their life so they will no longer add to their struggle.

Fate upset the winds of my breathe,
Save my rock from times erosion to death.
Displace my all, set a course to yeild -
invite the stake to my heart by dropping my shield.

I cling to the dream of eyes so blue,
a glorious hue which I know to be true.
Hair of gold with unmeasurable worth –
the breeze which brings my knees to meet the earth.

Divide not my ego! for the sum of a hero
who is nothing at all must always be zero.
I grow only thanks to the richness of soil
where my roots bleed life from the fields where she toils.

Death bring decay to render the land
fertile enough not to cut off my hand.
Ensuring the future of my fruits seed
Tonight I die and take my place with the leaves.
