What happens when two friends shared a very weird dream in just one night? Will it ever be the same for them in reality?

I was in your dream and you were in mine
And in our dreams, we united as one.
Weird as it may seem, bizarre in the real world
Within the dream, it better be, all left untold.

Such tremendous passion, in the dream we shared;
Our minds as one, something we would never dare.
A puzzle neither one of us can ever figure out,
Left us with feelings to make our sanity in doubt.

In my dream, we had shared such a steamy scene,
Deepest passions in our senses were revealed.
So much fervor, all too hot, that made our whole world rock,
A display of crazed passion that has taken me aback.

In your dream, it was so much the same, puts a fire to shame,
Perfect rhythm, so good jive, all the music to blame.
We were both caught up in a sizzling dance, yet we never stopped,
Satiating each other’s primal hunger, caught in a passionate trap.

Now in the real world, as we woke up;
Dreadful feelings seem to be trapped.
It seeped out of the dream and left us aghast,
Wondering how long till we forget it at last.

With a silent agreement, as if a solution we found,
Moments were relived, however weird it may sound.
Your turn, my turn, whoever of us who story tells,
Nothing changed, as if we were bound by strong spells.

So it seems, without a doubt, whichever way we may partake,
Our goal to forget seems to be a frustration we can’t fake.
What to do, how to act, what to say, now we both dread ask,
When we face each other, do we have to wear a mask?

    Great poem,i would say you should be together,unless one or both are married,then that would ruin a family,.Follow your heart and do what you know is the right thing.

  • Fresh Writing on Apr 8, 2009

    Wow…something definitely new off the books here…

    You asked for advice, and I really don’t know how to give it. Sorry (:P), but perhaps (is this a guy friend you’re talking about here?) you have experienced a romantic moment of connectivity and supernatural sense. As cheesy and unrealistic as that seems, it may be just the case-I don’t know what you do or don’t believe, but ‘chatting up’ the fellow might not be too bad an idea. :)

    There might be something here! You may never know…

    Best of luck,

    -Fresh Writing
