I took a close look

A close look at your face

Staring into that beautiful brown eyes

With a loving gaze

You took my hand, 

And we began to dance, 

To a song I’ve never heard before

But never the less, it was one in a million chance

You stared in my face

And whispered the words I love you, 

It was then that I realized

That I finally have you.

But then I woke up

Woke up from my dream

And started to float back to reality

The reality that there will be no us, and there had never been.

The thought of you and I 

Can never be seen, 

Cause I can only have you

In my  own shattered dreams.
