Shattered Life

Sad little eyes
look back at me
a teardrop falls
the mirror shatters

pieces of a life
disentegrates
into particles of somebody
who no longer matters

life is a puzzle
it takes an eternity
to fill in all
the emptiness

dreams
bring back memories,
hauntings,
nightmares, and horrors

until one day
you step on something sharp
pulling from your foot
a shattered piece of glass
