This is another of my inner demon poems I wrote. This is a very powerful poem in regards to my pain inside.

I stand before a dark ravine…nothing behind or before me…except the dark ravine before my feet.

I take a step forward to get a better look…all I see is shadows consuming all.

I step back as rock crumbles at my feet…the dirt changes to a mirror…I look down to see a reflection.

The reflection is my own… only half of me is visible…I begin to cry…a crimson tear falls onto the glass mirror…the mirror shatters beneath me.

I fall down the ravine…shattering glass slicing me as I fall…suddenly I stop in midfall…I look up to see my lover.

I look to the glass shards as his lips press to mine…it is suddenly clear…he is the completion of me.

I closed my eyes as he locked his embrace about me…we lay in bed together.

My love for him…now stronger…I roll over…I meet his eyes.

Sweat drips onto my neck as he finally marks me as his love.

The shards reform into a mirror…I look into the mirror…finally complete.

His fangs pierce my neck…and my fangs in his neck… we share a bloody kiss…to close the mark of love…as we are no longer shards…we are a mirror.

The shattered completion ticks away at time…blood to blood…we are no longer alone…but in love.
