A poem for those who think they need to conform to the likes of others in order to be known or have friends.
I like who I am,
and I’m not gonna change
on your command.
You can’t just say shazam
and expect me to change who I am.
I’m not gonna change me
just for popularity.
I like who I am.
I like me this way.
So hold your shazam
I’m not gonna change.
But if you can accept me
for who I am.
Then I can be friendly.
Just don’t say shazam.
