My First Born who’s gone to sleep with the Angels.

Warm fair Loving Child
Tender sweet gentle smile
Hands so small gentle caressing touch
Shih little baby’s gone to sleep.

Butterfly, pebble stone, golden locks
Marbles eye, Childs treasures in a box
Sweet laughter of life filled with joy
Shih little baby’s gone to sleep.

Ears that hear sweet songs of loving grace
Pure heart filled with love
Childs dream in Glorious lands
Shih little baby’s gone to sleep

Checks of rose eyes of peace
Arms stretched out honest child come to me-
Unto the Bosom of Gods embrace
Shih little baby’s gone to sleep.

The imagery of this poem is very good. It would read better if it were edited a bit, for example, “checks” should be “cheeks.” But the sentiments are genuine and touching.
